We look to build a community of educated and empowered people of color, so that we can grow to proudly represent ourselves to each other and to the world as the talented and beautiful culture that we are, bypassing the current social stigmas and false “culture” that’s been placed upon us by ill-informed media and even our own people, that have been unfortunately raised and brought up with this false sense of a worldly culture that doesn’t truly represent us.

Here is the story of a trio of women, two mothers of victims of gun violence and the street culture that has poisoned the neighborhoods of our families, while one is a sister to one of the very same victims. This testimony is powerful and we’re glad to have documented them speaking in their own words how they are still living past this grief.

His life in sports has catapulted him into national acclaim and he’s had the unique experience of traveling the world playing basketball. His life however, has still been one filled with the struggles of coming from humble beginnings to success, and not exactly knowing or being prepared to navigate in that space of society. He tells his experience best in this heartfelt and needed episode.
This episode finds our host during a solo interview, speaking directly through the camera to the audience, and being honest and transparent about how gun violence has affected her and her family in a jarring way; through the loss of her beloved Uncle Timmy.
